Frequency Master IV
The Frequency Master IV opens up the fast and easy assessment of the actual situation of radiation at a frequency range from about 800 MHz to 10 GHz. The broadband radio receiver Frequency Master IV detects and proves high-frequency radiation caused by cellular phones, radio phone networks, digital phone networks, GSM phone networks, cordless phones (DECT, CT1+, etc.), WiFi (WLAN), bluetooth, radio and television broadcasting, microwave ovens, radar radiation etc. A peak value detection facilitates the measurement of pulsed high-frequency signals according to the requirements of ecological construction. The pulsed and the non-pulsed radiation can be displayed in the unit of the electric field strength mV/m or in the unit of the irradiance µW/m². An integrated speaker enables the sound evaluation of the modulated high-frequency signals, e.g. the modulation of pulsed signals. This feature simplifies the detection of locations with exposure to elevated radiation. There are two logarithmic periodic antennas included in the scope of delivery of the measuring device: a broadband logper antenna to be used from 900 MHz to 2600 MHz and a second broadband logper antenna covering the range from 2000 MHz to 10000 MHz. With both antennas the detection of direction and polarisation of high-frequency radiation can be performed. A biconical antenna, which is available as optional accessory part, covers the frequency range below 900 Mhz and provides the opportunity of omnidirectional measurement from 50MHz to 3 GHz. A standard PC software, which is provided optionally, can be connected to the device by the internal USB interface and facilitates long-term measurements. Furthermore the device provides a headphone jack and an optional output for analog pen recorders.

Detection of radio services
The measuring device automatically detects the following radio services: DECT, Wifi (WLAN), GSM phone network, both Wifi (WLAN) + DECT, both WiFi (WLAN) + GSM, both DECT + GSM, and WiFi (WLAN) + DECT + GSM. If these services are available, then they can be read from the display. WCDMA detection facilitates to detect typical WCDMA signals like UMTS. A colored luminous display from green to red simplifies to select critical and uncritical measured values, even if there is no comparison chart ready to hand.
